Alan, Let's try another analogy. Say a bald- headed snake oil salesman comes to your political party's convention (we'll call it the Reform Party) and asks you to endorse him governor. After giving him your endorsement he then leaves your party and....wait a minute this isn't an analogy it really happened! ;-) You Independence Party folks have already ruined two political parties with your partisan bickering....now you want to offer advice on how the DFL should run our party? Thanks for the offer Alan, but we DFL'er don't need any help in the partisan bickering department. Of course if you want to announce your leaving the Independence Party and coming home to the DFL we'll leave the light on and talk when you get here! ;-) Dennis Hill DFL Endorsement Nazi SD 65 DFL'er St. Paul >>>Alan Shilepsky <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 02/23/01 01:57PM >>> > > the age old litmus test - > > will you run against the > > DFL endorsed candidate in the primary? Let's do a private sector analogy. Say Target only has room in its Twin Cities stores to display one brand of vacuum cleaner, and it screens Red Devil, Hoover and Eureka to decide which brand to offer. A key screening question is: "if we don't pick your brand, do you promise to refrain from selling your line at any of our competitors' Twin City stores." _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com _______________________________________________ Minneapolis Issues Forum - Minnesota E-Democracy Post messages to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subscribe, Unsubscribe, Digest option, and more: http://e-democracy.org/mpls
