Is MNDot mad at the City of Minneapolis for its questioning of the proposed
reconstruction of Highway 62 Crosstown and getting even by lack of
maintenance. The road is a joke from France Avenue through the Commons area
with potholes big enough to swallow small cars. Today I had to laugh at the
more than 15 hub caps that littered the side of the road in just a very short
length of road. I bet you could get at least a matching pair.
But then tonight as I drove 494 between Cedar and 35W and there were many,
many street lights that didn't work, I realized that MNDot also must be mad
at Bloomington. Wonder what that City did to incur the wrath?
I just don't get it. It can't be that hard to fix potholes or replace light
bulbs. Where does the money go? I'm not willing to pay more in taxes until
I see the present money well spent.
