I want to write to thanks all those involved who helped keep the skating
rinks at the Minneapolis Parks open several extra days in the past week.
In my last post I lamented the closing of the rinks despite the
continued winter weather. Well, your actions helped keep the rinks open.
Despite the fact that I fell playing hockey on Monday, February 19, and
broke my leg - my son enjoyed a few extra days of skating.
Let's give a big thank you to the Park Board Staff and Commissioners who
are working to make the Parks more responsive to the seasons and the
people of Minneapolis.
