I would like to clarify one point from Rep. Phyllis Kahn's election tidbit
post. Before I do, I should note that I support Phyllis, I distributed
literature for her campaign, I contributed to her campaign and I would do so
again. However, I do not believe that Phyllis' DFL primary opponent, Brian
Biele, endorsed her Republican opponent, Ben Bowman. The day after the
primary election, Mr. Biele posted the following email to the Senate District
59 DFL email group:

To the 59-B DFL

I have not endorsed Ben Bowman in the 59-B general election race. However,
I appreciate his understanding of the problems that the majority of the people
in the district face in their day to day lives.

I am proud to be a Democrat and I will continue to work for the principles
of our party.

Brian T. Biele

I hope that clarifies at least that tidbit.

My opponent always said he would run in the primary and was rated
"acceptable". (After losing the DFL endorsement and then the primary he
then proceeded to endorse the Republican).
