I haven't worked out a mechanical energy to electrical energy problem in
quite some time, but I think the concept is not all that easy. First,
isn't a generators voltage output a function of the generators rotational
velocity? Second, in the conversion mechanical to electrical an entropy
consideration comes in so that the conversion can't be 100%. Is there a
clever electrical engineer out there who can shed light on this.
