a few days (weeks?) ago. there was a thread about
nellie stone johnson. somehow she was linked to a
discussion about the mary richards' statue going up on
nicollet mall.
i really admire nellie stone johnson. she represents
to me what is really great about minneapolis: the
activism, the diversity, the caring.
i am intersted in getting some feedback from list
members. i am willing to donate some money to start
the ball rolling on a nellie stone johnson statue
fund. how would i go about doing this? and is it even
doable?
