I have to lay a brag on Honeywell, Allina, St. Mary's, and Joe Selvagio (and
maybe more, I can't remember all the folks at that table) for the huge housing
change made in the Southwest Quadrant of Phillips. They've put scadzillions into
those three projects at the behest of community members and Councilman Herron.
Yes, some folks were displaced and no, I'm not thrilled at all to have the
gang/prostitution/drugs family living practically out my kitchen door. Not that
I didn't expect it, but that it's annoying and scarey dealing with junkies. But
every time I have to go downtown or come back from downtown, I give all those big
nasty corporate arch enemies a BIG thank you, this is really nice and Phillips
really deserves to have nice stuff too. They've gotten little but a kick in the
rear, face, gut, nose forever. They deserve to be respected too.
Wizard Marks, Central.
