I'm glad to see the Mayor has enough sense to have a
Mick run her campaign. Being Irish myself I can say
that sort of thing.

I do think it is presumptious on the part of The Mayor
and Mr. O'Rourke (you are male I presume) to speak of
a debate among the "three" candidates. Does that mean
that Dick Franson is not invited?

Likewise does that mean that a debate between mayoral
candidates from only the DFL leading up to a
non-partisan primary, which already skews the process
in favor of the one party, is what is suggested by Mr.
O'Rourke and Linda Picone of the Southwest Journal?

If the Dems feel they must debate among themselves
prior to the endorsement convention and hog the stage
and spotlight to themselves then I suggest that after
the endorsement only the DFL endorsee meet whomever
from the IR party and possible Independents decide to
join the fray.

I would welcome comments from others.
