Low ward turnout? Not to worry.

According to the standard Dem pundits we all know and love, non-voting
means satisfaction with the status quo. Thus, lower turnout means not less
but more satisfaction. A zero turnout would mean total satisfaction.
Everybody could just stay in office, even after death. Or, especially
after death, where total lack of activity proves complete satisfaction
with the status quo.

The other day I scheduled a meeting of the PolkaDot Basket Party. Nobody
came. Not even me. Clearly, everyone knows and loves the PDBP and wants it
to continue doing the fine job it always has. Let's hear it for the PDBP!
