53 votes decided this endorsement--and it went to 7th ballot to get those
53 votes. In 8th ward 52 votes decided DFL endorsement.
I heard the story that there ere lots of arguments on the floor about what
to do with Dean Zimmerperson.... And I guess he was allowed to be
nominated, but not allowed to speak. So he put some tape over his mouth
and was running around the convention like that.
I went to the 61 district Republican convention. Shirley Carlson spoke
about her campaign in 10th ward. It sounds like she has a good chance
there, and she's got a good campaign committee in place.
