There is a good idea in using the email lists. Last week someone posted
to the Mpls-Issues list that South High had a bomb threat, evacuated the
students to the Lake St. YMCA.
I was going through my email, read that, and called home. My son was sent
home earlier on the bus. No problem. But if I didn't have the heads-up,
I'd be driving home on congested hwy 62, hear a news report on the radio
and get real worried until I found my son safe at home.
