Thank you to those of you who brought up Mayor Lindau. As soon as you mentioned it, my hand went to my forehead in the traditional salute to my own momentary ignorance. I seem to be a bear of little brain today, much like my favorite A.A. Milne character from my childhood days, . . . I would be grateful if the TV stations would cover issues like these, maybe all at once in their end-of-year reviews. They are so filled with fluff these days anyway, instead of hard news -- and the newpapers could do a summary feature story at the end of the year too, maybe, whaddya say, Steve? Give us some useful fluff -- like where have all the flowers, er roads gone?, sort of like the academy of motion pictures does for the movie stars who have died -- a tribute to streets whose names have changed, and what their new names are, for those of us who don't pass that way often, just a little heads up, maybe? Oh, well, at least if we Minneapolitans are lost in our own city, we are in Paradise Lost. Am I right? Barbara Nelson Seward Again, thanks to those of you who put me back on the straight and narrow. _______________________________________________ Minneapolis Issues Forum - Minnesota E-Democracy Post messages to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subscribe, Unsubscribe, Digest option, and more: http://e-democracy.org/mpls
