Members: when you hit "reply" and send a response to the list, please delete
as much of the previous text as you can. It's ok to excerpt stuff you need
to directly cite, but all the repeated text is annoying for our 100-plus
digest readers. Since they get 15 or so messages at a time, leaving repeated
text in your post means they have to scroll through lots of junk to get to
the next "new" thought.
Plus, you'll save bandwidth.
Also, several members have posted lately without signing their real name and
neighborhood. Including both at the end of posts is a list rule, because not
everyone's email program expands addresses into real names. We want members
to "take ownership" of their thoughts, and we like to know where you're
literally coming from...
