My point is still the same: What is wrong with this picture? Even if the
quote of $70K was 5 yrs. old, this would still represent an annual increase
in cost of $3,000; if 3 years old, this would represent a $5,000 annual
increase in cost. I do not consider myself frugal, thrifty perhaps, but not
frugal. Yet this sort of price increase strikes me as obscene. And I think
that Michael Hohman's points are getting perilously close to the nexus of the
problem.
Perhaps what is needed is to create a citizen-based fiscal watchdog/oversight
group specifically for Minneapolis.
