But how far from the truth is this! I would say that
these people are probably MORE accountable than your
averagre elected or appointed civil servant. If some
neighborhood person steals from their organization, I
would guess that chances are much much higher that
they will be prosecuted than if an elected official
steals money. To say that these people are not
accountable is not true, and adds nothing of
intelligence to the conversation.
