The fact that this can honestly be said about the Park
Board speaks to it's value! We can clearly say that
the Mayor does not put environmental issues OR human
services at the top of her list, and likewise for the
City Council! (With the exception of Niland, but I
would call his philosophy more grounded in good
government, while serving both environmental issues
and human services.)
I suggest channelling some City Council powers to the
Park Board, as well as previously mentioned duplicate
services of city government;)
