Robert got three votes in that convention. Sandra Miller got 12. Brian
got 52 or so. I wasn't at the convention, so I didn't hear Robert's,
Sandra's or Brian's speeches. Brian has always been a good public speaker,
so I wouldn't be surprised if he did well in this arena. These were after
all delegates who went to the caucuses for Presidential and State
Senate/State House races. Robert started his campaign AFTER these
delegates were selected. 52 people shouldn't decide who our city council
person is. That's the job for a broader cross section of the electorate in
the ward in the primary, and general election.

That's interesting. Robert has been very active with Phillips West, the
Midtown Greenway Coalition, and many other neighborhood activities. His
posts on this list and on CNIA-Chat have always made alot of sense.

David F., I'd like to second Karen Forbes proposal to help set up a few
candidate forums - so that the voters can decide for themselves.
Will you, as SD 61 DFL Chair help work on that? It seems like it would be
a good way to get more folks engaged in the process.

Kallenbach. I'm curious: does Brian Herron show an appreciation for the
subtle differences between intersexed, transgender, and transexual people?
