The expression on Tom Leyden's face when he described this conversation
with Sabri was priceless. Leiden explicitly pointed out the irony of this
conversation.

A board president, Zack Metoyer, who is employed by Sabri. Metoyer in a
personal conversation with me told me he is no longer employed by Sabri.
However calls to Sabri's cell phone tell people to call his assistant, Zack
Metoyer for any emergencies.

The whole thing was bogus. There were folks who were uncomfortable filling
out the ballots because the ballots were numbered -- and the numbers were
associated with the number someone signed in as. I was ballot number 71 --
and I had signed in on line 71 of the sign in sheets.

Also, the planning meeting for this session was held in secret -- and not
all board members were informed of this meeting.

City Council Candidates Sandra Miller and Robert Lilligren were both in
attendance and talking to people. Rep. Neva Walker was also in attendance.
Council Member Brian Herron was conspictuous by his absence.

A member of the NRP policy board was present at this meeting. He told a
number of us that the current board had tried to get the Plan Mod ($120,000
or so) from the NRP policy board after having the plan mod fail at the
public meeting to discuss it. The NRP policy board turned them down. They
then asked for installments of $25,000 -- which don't have to go through
the full process -- and Bob Miller of the NRP turned that one down too.

And there's still $110,000 of unaccounted for funds, that board president
Zack Metoyer mentioned in his "disclaimer".

The soap opera continues.......
