Dear List Members:
Two weeks ago I went away on vacation. It almost wasn't worth it to
come back to over 500 messages, bless you little hearts.
Even though I messaged a few of my good buddies on the list and they
told me in condensed form what had gone on in the past week and which
posts were most likely to catch my interests and I deleted hundreds of
your well thought out thoughts, I have just now (two weeks later) caught
up with you.
Whew!
And that is with diligence of attitude, and still deleting madly. Why
do we have to be a list with such passion and wit and interesting things
to discuss in my absence. Why couldn't you all have had those
borrrrrrring discussions of the inner workings of the DFL where I
wouldn't have winced to hit the delete key a thousand times over?
Nevertheless, I am glad to say I am now, once again the informed
citizen, queasy and green at the gills, that I aspired to be when I
subscribed to the list, knowing what's up the sleeves of my city
officials and the rumor mongering amongst official and unofficialdom.
I am eagerly awaiting news of the Green's convention today. Has anyone
heard anything?
