Camp Coldwater was designated as Historical Site by Hennepin County Historical Society in
1952.
It wasn't ignored for decades, it was simply behind a locked barbed wire fence hidden from your view for decades.
Kinda feels like the highway plans....when you asked people in the park "did you know a highway is going to go through here?" You got the all to familiar blank stare...very few knew of the plans. Very Bizarre.
