Let's face it folks, the line between real and unreal has blurred a lot thanks to television. Nightly news has to be entertaining or no one watches say the TV executives. Sports heroes wander over into politics. No one stays in their niches anymore. I like the idea of the Mary Richards statue. She made Minneapolis known to the TV viewing audience and those are real people. I also like the Snoopy and Charlie Brown statues in St. Paul and heaven knows, they are real either, but people do smile at seeing them. We need a little of that in our lives.
