Not about funding, but about the extra-curriculars.  Can any one tell me if
MPS has reinstated Jr. High sports?
Or middle school or whatever faddish equivalent we are calling them now a
days.

In the late '70's and early 80's when I was in school, ouch!,  The suburbs
kept a large portion of their hormonal time bombs channeled into athletic
and other endeavors.  I bet a PhD could be had on researching the teen
pregnancy rates for young teens in MPS vs  the suburban schools. Plain and
simple, if the kids are in supervised athletic activities until mom and dad
get home from work, there is going to be less couch play while MTV is
showing Brittany et al.
