Dennis is right that this could be a major loss for Minneapolis, and it
would be helpful if Catherine or anyone else monitoring this would give us
some guidance on what we could do to help make the case to keep Carol here.
Along with all the great things we have heard about Carol in the schools,
she has an extraordinary grasp of how the district and the city can be
partners in creating community-wide learning. I left my meeting with her
extremely energized, which, I understand, is what seems to happen to most
people who meet with her.
So I really look for some thoughts from those of you who have talked with
her about what we can all do to help keep an exceptional community resource.
