Those name-race-face ads that are carefully crafted to
catch the eye but have no space left over for real
content bother me. A letter is much better. 

RT made his points well, and we're all but guaranteed
to get a reply piece from SSB.  If we're lucky the
other candidates will get a letter in and pretty soon
we'll know where they stand and have an idea what they
think.  All in time for the primary.

an opinion out, but I think the Star Tribune probably
shouldn't be publishing letters and opinion pieces
from people running for political office.

Writing a letter as a concerned citizen is a little
different than writing one as a politician seeking
office.
