First, let me reassure Eva that I am quite aware that at
least a handful of upmarket gay men are supporting Lisa. However, the
rest of the GLBTI populace- lesbians, working class gay men, bi's,
intersexed, trans, and "queer straights" are divided between RT and
Sharon. I suspect most of this vote will break for Sharon based on
her several years of support for the GLBTI community. Sharon stands
out from the crowd also because she doesn't just march in the pride
parade, she embraces it. Everyone in the GLBTI community remembers
her parade appearance, and the fact that she's the only candidate
that isn't afraid to compete with the drag queens for best dressed.

Second, David Lillehaug was concerned about just who Paul
Wellstone is endorsing. Quotes from Paul appear on both RT's and
Sharon's webpages. The one on RT's is an old boilerplate quote I
believe. The one on Sharon's certainly sounds to me like an
endorsement. Counsel, you may want examine the evidence before
making any charges...

Finally, to whomever was hanging their signs on the freeway
overpasses this morning: MNDOT and the State Patrol take a dim view
of this practice. They consider this a visual hazard and will
promptly remove them. The loose unattended signs are also a hazard
when they fall onto the roadway. Cable ties are not adequate to
secure large signs, and a large sign fallen on the roadway is a
hazard to motorcyclists. This is not the way to get the motorcyclist
vote! Also, most of the motorists reading your signs are not
Minneapolis residents- I hope your not planning on having them vote
here.
