What follows is a collection of posts from our post on the role of "White Supremacy" in the 2001 mayoral election. It is clear there are groups that will go any end to further the role of race in this city. These hired guns from St Paul and other race centres have move into this city to get the Mayor with the aide of a few yellow journalists. Eric Fyksen writes M.A. has posted some pretty offensive and "intolerant" stuff - like the "buggerism is illegal" bit, etc. Spose he might be happy with SSB, but I'm not. I also kinda doubt we'll be turning back the clock on civil rights just because M.A. wants buggerism to be illegal. Probably won't take away women's right to vote, or force them to cover their heads either. If M.A. is so concerned about Muslim law - why is he/she advocating voting for a woman? We have never took a position on the legality of buggerism. The states address this issue. El Islam does not require women to cover their face. However, one candidate would be best served too.. EM writes: No doubt race has been an issue in the Mayoral race but, to say that it's the most racist in the history of the city is really stretching things beyond the truth. I assume that MA is young - very young. We were not here for the Davis Campaign, which was a "non campaign". Davis did not have a China man change of winning. Thus, this campaign was a DFL show tell ! We were in Cleveland where real action was,ask McDonald. Carl Stokes run and was elected. The police tried to burn down his house, the FOIs saved him from death. This was the real deal. Minneapolis at the time do not have enough "negroes" to make a jungle movie Dyna Sluyter writes: " Today we have a former U.S. Attorney charging the campaign of the only major candidate of color for mayor with... misuse of the word "endorsement"! I did not realize such possible grammatical errors were chargeable offenses. But I suppose the rules are different for the campaign of an African American sitting Mayor." This is the same racist that tried to put Malclom X's little girl in jail. The devil is busy ! Wellstone knows that his political future rest on the backs of the mayor' supporters. This former US attorney knows that our votes sent Mark Dayton to senate and him to the "trashcan of history". The People of Minneapolis have a historical duty to take the sheets off the of Rabek and McDonald campaigns ! Re-elect The Mayor ....................... http://www.cranston.com/~ma m a al-Kabir Uptown _______________________________________ Minneapolis Issues Forum - Mn E-Democracy Post messages to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subscribe, Unsubscribe, Digest option, and more: http://e-democracy.org/mpls
