Apparently the eleventh hour is the time we can expect things to turn really nasty. Britt's assessment of the last two mayoral elections isn't too long ago for any of us to remember. Many of the folks I've talked to voted for Sharon in at least one of those elections - myself included. And many of those folks are voting for someone other than Sharon this time around for a variety of reasons - none of which has anything to do with the color of her skin.
Ms. Sluyter's past posts have been interesting and entertaining but sadly this one was downright insulting and offensive. Politics is funny business and hopefully we can regain a decorum of respect once the primary is behind us.
