  Like most radicals, I'm pretty aware of the history of the Philly
police.  The move bombing is sort of a big deal.  So I'd never say that
the Twin Cities have the worst police force.  As a matter of fact, I
didn't say that.  But what I did say is that the police force is pretty
rotten.  I don't think that the logic that something else is worse
legitimizes a situation.  After all, one can move this farther in its
logic by pointing out that the situation in Philly is nothing like say the
situation in the Occupied Territories in Palestine (et al).  The simple
fact of the matter is, I live here.  These are the police I see engaged in
a number of activities (stemming from a CODEFOR system) which I think have
racist tendancies and in general lead to this being a less liveable
place.  To put it simply, I would like to see that change.
