Eva boasts:

In the 8th ward, Robert Lilligren came in first-and very commandingly so --
and this despite the DFL machine working against him. He came in first by
attracting a good cadre of volunteers, and working diligently for every vote
he received. Since Louis King, who is managing Brock's campaign along with
Matthea Little Smith is a formidable competitor, I'm looking forward to more
friendly debates with Louis King on this list. I've enjoyed matching wits
with Louis King on this list. I always enjoy reading his posts.
Your humble servant responds:

First, it was good meeting you at Lilligran's party. As you can see,
gentlemen soldiers honor their opponents appropriately before engaging in
the main event. Congratulations on your victory. I would not begin
gloating just yet. We had six weeks-and we were in shock the first one.
Take a look at how the field was split and what happened where. Our
strategy worked. New game. Stand by.

There is no DFL machine. Just us folks from Podunk trying to have a little
fun and to carryout our civic responsibility.

Congratulations to everyone who demonstrated yesterday that we will not be
held hostage. Democracy moves on.

Louis J. King II
