I felt the need to call Arab friends to check on them. Mr.
Hassan didn't open his grocery yesterday and it looks like
he won't today. Others said they kept their whole families
home "to be safe." Mr. Abu Isa came in and opened the gas
station. He said that only one "ignorant person" tried to
blame the events of yesterday (the bombings, not the
election) on him.
I also did some eaves-dropping in different coffee shops.
The wierdest was a woman who thought we ought to bomb the
United Nations in retaliation. (huh?) I'm still working on
that one.
