Folks - the tragedy yesterday was profound, and bears discussion, but we are
starting to drift into the international politics of it rather than local
and humanitarian concerns. I'd appreciate it if we'd get back to Minneapolis
and its happenings. A few things happened here yesterday that also bear
discussing.

To be sure, if there's an attack-related event here, by all means publicize
it on the list. But take the debates over America's role, and the id of
fighters/transports, etc. to some other list.

I would also politely suggest that if someone's post offends you, PLEASE
email that person directly rather than the whole list. It's more effective
and doesn't keep an often off-point discussion going. Every post does not
need an on-list retort.

Thanks,
David Brauer
List manager
