Ok, I'll bite. RT had an excellent campaign -- and also an efficient one
-- he raised the least but came in first. He was excellent at motivating
and exciting volunteers. I have also appreciated RT's regular
participation on this list. However, as a member of Lisa McDonald's
campaign, I've felt that the attacks from both the RT and Sharon's campaign
on Lisa McDonald have been quite personal. When RT put out a press release
that I felt unfairly attacked Lisa, I told him how I felt about it.
My guess is the campaign against RT will focus on how he's inexperienced,
hardly wet behind the ears. That was basically the campaign against Robert
Lilligren -- but it didn't seem to work too well.
I still am disapppointed that Lisa McDonald did not pull through. I think
she had a great message and would have made a great mayor. That's life
though -- you win a few and lose a few with campaigns.
