Liz, relax - we're not the wacko, kill-crazy berserkers Hollywood likes
to
trot out. As Kipling once put it, we're "sdingle men in barricks, most
remarkable
like you." Most of the people I knew in the Regular Army and the Reserves were
ordinary down-home Joe & Jane Sixpack types, ,mixed in with college students,
policemen, insurance salesmen and so on. Can't help nbut find it grimly
amusing
that the same people who talk a lot about tolerance & diversity have such
knee-jerk reactions to thos eof us who put on our camies when it comes time
to do the
jwork we swore to do.
