Well, Paul hate to say this but your first promise is probably not a city
agenda item but the Park Board's. I have been trying to get a skateboard
park for all of Minneapolis for all these years but only recently has the
idea surfaced again. And Lisa McDonad's nudge in the mayorial race helped
push it to the top of the agenda. I am already meeting with parents in the
Seward neighborhood, have visited skateboard parks across the county and
have the blueprints from Boston in my trusty little paw waiting for the
right time to show it off at a Park Board meeting.
I am glad, however, that you are supportive of the idea. It is part of the
New Parks agenda for the new millenium which I am proposing.
