Hey, some people think skateboard parks or web access to council votes are
as important as ornamental lighting (or stopping it).

In other words, let's lighten up. (Pardon the pun.) Paul isn't a school
board member, and I don't think he's running for CIA director. My guess he
has a few things to say about city spending and affordable housing, although
perhaps no grand promises.

Promises are nice, but since we often don�t know the issues that will
confront us, a certain humor and humanity indicates the resilience to deal
with unexpected challenges. These are traits I believe Paul and Cam share.

Don't lose those traits, guys, and I'm guessing you'll stay much saner and
remain much better public officials in the long run.
