Guiliani has been a shining light showing how a city
can address problems. In contrast, my mayor tells me
that "crime is down." She does not say that all the
neighborhoods are safe, and would probably be
irritated if asked why they weren't.

Guiliani has been out telling tired rescue workers
that their hard work is noticed and appreciated. I
have no idea how Sharon would react in a similar
situation as I usually can't tell if she has reacted
or not.

NY is not lucky to have a man like Guiliani, they
recognize their need for him and have elected him. No
one is surprised by the efforts he is taking now. But
as Minneapolis is a completely different city with
completely different needs, we are free to elect the
mayor who works best for us.

Just who do you believe should take leadership roles
in disaster planning if not the mayor and the city
council.
