Congradulations to Dan Niziolek!

Dan is against public funding of the stadium, huge coorporate welfare subsidies and a development agenda dominiated by big-box downtown retail. Despite the obvious policy differences with the Star Tribune, Dan received their endorsement for his City Council bid to be the next Councilmember in the 10th ward.

This caps what is a clean sweep of all major endorsement since the DFL convention in March:

Sierra Club, AFL-CIO COPE, Minnesota Teamster Drive, MPEA, Minneapolis Realtor Association (support), Downtown Council (support), Clean Water Action, StarTribune, Minneapolis Building and Construction Trades, AFSCME, Minneapolis Municipal Retirement Association, Minneapolis Police Relief Association, Police Officers Federation of Minneapolis, Minneapolis Fire Department Relief Association. . . .as well as thousands of residents in the 10th ward!

Why? Each of these groups have cited the same reason:

Dan Niziolek has a proven track record of experience working directly with the residents and neighborhoods in the tenth ward on the issues relevant to the City Council.  His experience positions him as the best candidate to get stuff done at City Hall.  He is the most experienced candidate in the 10th ward race.

Congradulations Dan!
