Just for the record I think people should ask Robert straight out who his
aide is going to be. He was very open in telling me the person's name last
week at the Green Tomato Cook-off Harvest Festival in Phillips. It was a
name I did not recognize and honestly don't remember,(Doris Gray? maybe), a
person who is a social worker and other qualifications that he was happy
with and she seemed to not be involved in politics at all. I think it
would be useful for folks to start asking the candidate's themselves some
of these questions. I have found most of the candidate's very open with
what they are considering as possible optons, if elected.
It's time to stop the street gossip - 14 days out many of the answers are
available straight from the candidate's mouth. Get out on those streets to
the forums and debates if you haven't already made up your mind - we're on
the back stretch now and getting down to the wire as far as winning the
race.
And while you are at it send a little message to the weather gods and
goddesses so that we have a nice weather day on Nov. 6th - it will help to
make change by having a higher than normal voter turnout.
Reuse and Recycle the Guthrie,
