Well, it's nice to know that Ms. Kahn believes that Minneapolis voters have endorsed R.T. :-) I don't think that we should forget that the DFL convention never endorsed Mr. Zerby, they endorsed Joan Campbell. Mr. Zerby was endorsed by committee (and who says there's no DFL machine?). > Some of us do believe that credentials are important: for example the totally inept >city legal department that gave us the Kondirator settlement might be helped by some >oversight from someone who has worked in outstanding Government and private legal >departments. I think that this is a great idea: Mr. Zerby should apply for a job with the city's legal department. I'm sure that they can use another attorney after being forced to settle the Hard Times Cafe case. > For more in depth positions check the Zerby web site www.zerby.com/paul > or just call him. Well, I did just call on him at our neighborhood meeting on Monday to take a stand on the proposed Gofer/Vikings stadium on the U of M campus and he refused. To me it doesn't seem that Mr. Zerby has a platform, as much as he has a lockbox. Other than a number of political platitudes, I don't know that Mr. Zerby has taken stands on much more than skateboard parks (he's pro). Oh, I almost forgot, he doesn't believe that students should be members of our neighborhood association, even though their participation in NRP decisions is mandated by state statue. > And Finally the most that " robust new political party " has given us was the psuedo >election of George W. Bush. Whoa, let's beat up on the Greens again. Please don't forget that it was the Supreme Court who "elected" George Bush and I don't really think that Cam Gordon had much influence on the Court. Besides, even though I can't stand the man, he is our President and we are in the middle of a national crisis. Here they are side by side. I think you should take a look and decide for yourself. http://www.camgordon.org/ vs. http://www.zerby.com/paul Oh and just to be fair, I would like to ask Mr. Gordon's position on the proposed Gofer/Vikings stadium.
