The additional facts you asked for are these.  After your ally's letter
was published in the Southeast Angle using the epithet against some of
the members of PPERRIA, some of those same members made up buttons
quoting that epithet.  It was, quite literally, taking your ally's
epithet and wearing it as a badge of honor.   But some members making
buttons at one meeting as a riposte to your ally's insult is hardly
PPERRIA having  "identified itself" with that epithet.  That PPERRIA had
"identified itself" IS what you just said.

In any case, everything happened two and a half YEARS ago.  The
neighborhood has long since moved on.  As neighbors, few try to rip
scabs off old wounds

So, is what you said accurate?

No, it was not.  (And sometimes "no" really does mean "no.")
