Wizard-

I think that's really an unfair assessment about
Robert. While Robert was not in a position of "power"
in the decisions made about Portland Place, he was a
very active volunteer in West Phillips and a leader in
that community. He attended meetings, gave input, and
probably lobbied a great deal which is about all any
neighborhood volunteer can do.

I worked intensively with Robert for two years. He is
passionate, intelligent, and approaches issues openly
with common sense. His personal involvement in
housing development will bring a great deal of "nuts
and bolts" decision-making to how the city handles
housing development in the future. The thing I like
most about Robert is that he is the first one to admit
that he doesn't know everything and expresses a great
willingness to listen and be educated. I wish more
people were like that.

With all the talk of re-organizing and re-structuring
city departments and agencies, I believe that Robert
will be a tremendous asset to these discussion not
only for the eighth ward but for the entire city.

I have a great deal of respect in him and am proud
that he has been positive and stayed on the high road
in his campaign.
