I'm so angry I could kick the seeds out of a pickle. One of
my friends who lives in the middle section of the Eighth
Ward called me to ask how Robert Lilligren had helped
produce Portland Place and the Joe Selvaggio inititive in
the North end of the Ward. She said Lilligren had called to
solicit her vote and told her how he'd helped out with that.
NOT TRUE! I was at the meetings with Michael Bonsignore
(Honeywell), Gordon Springer and Gene Torey (Abbott
Northwestern Hospital), the President of St. Mary's College,
Rod Wooten of Lake Street Partners, Project for Pride in
Living, Brian Herron, Eighth Ward Councilman, and some
architects. Robert Lilligren had nothing to do with
producing those two wonderful projects. Nothing. Zip, zero,
nada.
