A few days ago, my wife and I were out for a walk, and we passed one of the new(ish) Sandy Colvin Roy signs. The sun was shining through the sign, so we noticed that these are the types of signs where the image from the other side of the sign bleeds through, so that there is a reversed ghost image visible behind the main image.
My wife thought this was strange, since she had heard these "bleed-through" signs were the result of using non-union labor, and we would expect that Colvin Roy's signs would have been printed in a union shop. So I took a look at the sign to show her the union label, and I couldn't find it. We both looked, and all we could see was a logo for Impact Printing, but no union logo. So, I'd be very surprised to find out that a DFL and labor endorsed candidate wouldn't use union labor to print her signs, but I'd also be surprised to find out that a DFL and labor endorsed candidate wouldn't make sure the union put on their label. Does anybody know what happened?
