Republicans favored Rybak 71 percent to 15 percent, and independents
went for Rybak 53 percent to 22 percent. [DFLers are "closely split,"
says the story.] Men preferred Rybak 58 percent to 29 percent, while
women favored him 52 percent to 38 percent. Black voters favored Sayles
Belton 74-15, with whites favoring Rybak 59 percent to 30 percent.

Also from the piece:

Likely voters also were asked whether they agreed or disagreed with the
statement, "R.T. Rybak doesn't really have the vision and experience to
be mayor." Only 21 percent agreed while 58 percent disagreed.
