Tim's message reminded me that I was fairly blown away when I compared
numbers of my last election and realized that the numbers this time were
only slightly higher than my first election in 1989 and I mean slightly.
This was amazing since my campaign this year had figured I would need more
votes than in 1997 and had no idea where I would scare them up. HAving such
low numbers helped my campaign I am sure.

I want to thank everyone on this list and the 28,536 people who re-elected
me to the Minneapolis Park Board. I am honored and will work hard to serve
you well. One of my first charges will be to work to redirect our
conflicts into opportunities and resolve these conflicts in order to
improve communication internally and externally so that we can better serve
the citizens of Minneapolis. After that there is a list of 100's of things
to do on the Park Board.

Please feel free to e-mail, call(612-729-3359) and snail mail me your
comments, suggestions and concerns. I will be glad to come to your
neighborhood meetings and places to discuss your park concerns. I am here
as a public servant to represent you the citizens of Minneapolis. Thank You.
