I smell a sour grapes.  C'mon, you're astounded that the majority of the
nation did something foolish?  Where were you during Disco, then?  Did you
SEE those lapels?

Anyway, the national question is off topic.  Thus my thoughts on that matter

Meanwhile the Mayor of Minneapolis was still a Democrat.  Although given how
many Democrats (including Coleman) jumped ship to the more powerful party
after the "Republican Revolution" in the 90's, maybe I'd better check again?
