Training on COMMUNITY-ORIENTED POLICING
Community-oriented policing has been hailed as a new approach to crime-fighting that builds partnerships between the community and the police and aims to proactively solve problems before they occur. This training includes: Comparing community-oriented policing to traditional police practices Explaining the principles of community-oriented policing Sharing community-oriented police success stories in Minneapolis and St. Paul. You will also get the chance to present your own crime situation and discuss how community oriented policing can help. THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 29, 7:OO P.M. MATTHEWS PARK 2404 28TH Ave. S.
