The housing demand has virtually eliminated the public demolition of houses in the Longfellow community, houses are being bought for the land to build a new home on. The Longfellow community is a fairly large piece of Minneapolis and if there is no longer public demolition of homes here why is this such a problem elsewhere in Minneapolis.
