firmly believe when we consider, "What is better now, then it was before?", 
we should acknowledge that the private sector with it's own money or credit, 
has historically been the housing developer. And a free market system once 
served us all pretty well. I agree that faith based initiatives in social 
welfare are appropriate and a great expression of faith. Those initiatives 
may be most effective when they include advocating for free market developers 
and housing investors at all levels. 
   We know that small business employers provide the most jobs. I remind all 
that small property owners called landlord provide the most "affordable" 
housing. At the end of the day; the marginalizing of this great engine, the 
small business person called property investor, will net marginalize the 
outcome of all other housing initiatives. PS-This is not a suggestion that 
you, Mr. Hornstein, are party to this margining force alluded to here.
