Condition of Lyndale Avenue from Franklin to 56th Street South Ability to search Mpls Public Libary on-line Eat Street Lyndale, Kignfield, East Harriet Neighborhoods (my across the street neighbor who has lived on my block since 1963 tells me all kinds of stories about how this area really nose dived in the 60's, 70's, 80's, into the 90's). I remember 10 years ago looking for our first house and Lyndale was scary, East Harriet, Kingfield iffy. (We moved to Kenny). 6 years ago Kingfield and East Harriet great, Lyndale iffy. Today, all three are considered extremely desirable neighborhoods.
